L.A. Home Beautiful is the only publication that offers “everyday” Los Angeles area home design professionals, businesses and organizations a platform to connect with consumers and develop thought leadership among industry professionals through original content and storytelling.

Our primary audience is Los Angeles area home design professionals, retailers, manufactures and consumers who want to be entertained, educated, informed and inspired about home design, through the lens of Los Angeles.

L.A. Home Beautiful is presented by Westside Tile & Stone, with two locations in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills and Canoga Park) that offer a vast selection of exquisite tile and stone materials, superb customer service, and technical knowledge.

With our wide variety of content about and related to home design, L.A. Home Beautiful amplifies your expertise and insights by putting content you contribute in front of thousands of people who visit our website, as well those who follow our social media accounts and subscribe to our emails.
In addition to providing “everyday” Los Angeles area home design professionals, businesses and organizations with a platform to further expose themselves to new customers/clients and develop thought leadership among industry professionals, we:
- Run paid advertisements of your published content on Facebook and Instagram, according to demographic and geographic information that you provide us, as a complimentary service to our contributors
- Offer exclusive discounts and giveaways at Los Angeles area home design stores only available to our content contributors
- Be the first to know about new products and collections available at Westside Tile & Stone
How It Works
- Every week, we send out an email with trending topics and ideas for posts. Posts can be submitted as written articles, lists, illustrations, graphics or photos / videos with minimal text.
- After receiving the weekly email, you can opt in to write about one of our proposed topics / ideas, or you can suggest a topic / idea of your own.
- Upon receiving approval from our editorial team, you write and submit the post via your Medium account. (For step-by-step instructions about creating a free Medium account, please click here.)
- Assuming your post meets our editorial guidelines, we publish it with your biography and links to your website and social media accounts at the end of the post.
- We promote the post on L.A. Home Beautiful’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest accounts. The top posts from each week will also be featured in our weekly email “Best of L.A. Home Beautiful.”
- As a complimentary service to our contributors, we run paid advertisements of your published content on Facebook and Instagram, according to demographic and geographic information that you provide us (including location, age range and gender).

Who is eligible to contribute?
Home design professionals — including interior designers and decorators, contractors, builders, architects, academics, media members, retailers, manufacturers and personalities — who do business in the Los Angeles area are eligible to have their content published on L.A. Home Beautiful.
Previous writing or editorial experience doesn’t hurt, but is not required in order to contribute content. As long as you can tell a good story, or effectively communicate best practices, tips, ideas, insights and inspiration about home design through written articles, photos, graphics and/or video, we’d love for you to submit content.
Do you publish all content that is submitted?
We do not guarantee that every piece of content will be published. While we appreciate every submission we receive, our editorial team will determine which submissions will be published. If your content does not meet our editorial guidelines when you first submit it, we will provide you with feedback for revising your submission so that it meets our guidelines.
Regardless if your content is published by us or not, your post will be live on your Medium profile when you publish it, so your time and effort will not go to waste.
Can I submit content that was previously published elsewhere?
We only publish original, previously unpublished articles specifically created for L.A. Home Beautiful. You may find inspiration from other articles you have written, but please do not repurpose existing work.
We ask for a two-week exclusive on your work and the right to keep your work on our site for as long as we wish. After the exclusivity period ends, you may post the content on your personal blog, but we ask that you cite the L.A. Home Beautiful link within the re-published post.
Do contributors receive compensation?
At this time, there is no compensation being offered to contributors.
